  Testimonials from Actual Patients

"I hate to be in pain - and Dr Wang made sure I was comfortable during my procedure. After this experience, I would have to say she has the best chair-side manner of any dentist I've ever been to!"

Q1 - I don't like the color of my teeth. How can I change this?
One of my favorite things as a dentist is watching a patient's confidence level boost because they feel good about their smile. The easiest way to obtain a bright white smile is to undergo bleaching. I have only the highest quality matierials available for you to get your teeth their whitest! See our "Special Offer" page for details of our whitening package. I guarantee you'll love the results!
Q2 - Why don’t you use silver fillings (amalgams)?
The primary reason for my practice to offer alternatives to dental amalgams is that there currently exists far superior materials than the traditional amalgam filling. Along with this new technology comes innovative techniques that dramatically improve the longevity and natural esthetics of teeth; something that silver fillings could never, can never and will never be able to accomplish. Placing dental amalgams in the current renaissance of dentistry would be like United Airlines buying a 1940 airplane and believing it will meet the expectations and demands of aviation today.
Q3 - What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a surgically placed post that replaces a missing natural tooth. Second best to a natural tooth, a dental implant is an amazing alternative to having no teeth, a removable denture, or fixed bridgework.
Q4 - Is your dental office children friendly?
YES! Being a parent of small children myself, I know how important it is for your children to feel comfortable, relaxed, and protected during their dental visits. That is why we've made our practice such a versitile one. We not only welcome grown adults that are looking for a new and beautiful smile transformation, but we love to serve our smaller patients as well. My office is very kid-friendly with a selection of appropriate kids DVDs, coloring books, toys, snacks and beverages. This is why kids get so excited when it's time to visit "Dr. Lisa".
Q5 - When Should I schedule my child's first dental check-up?
You should start dental checkups early. The American Dental Association and the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry note that it is beneficial for the first dental visit to occur within six months of the appearance of the baby's first tooth but no later than the child's first birthday.
Q6 - Why schedule a visit so early?
A lot of my patients find that it's helpful for me to show you the proper way to clean your child's teeth, discuss fluoride needs and recommend oral care products. I also check for problems, such as baby bottle tooth decay. For toddlers, I examine their teeth and gums, check for decay and other problems, and clean their teeth. Your toddler may be evaluated for habits such as prolonged thumb or finger sucking. The bottom line is that children's dental needs differ, and it is important that you as their parent meet those needs of your little ones.
Q7 - How often should I get my teeth cleaned and my mouth examined?
Regular visits to your dentist’s office should include a minimum of 2 dental exams and cleanings a year. However, patients with periodontal disease should visit their dentist more often, in effort to restore the health of their gums. You will receive a summary of your dental health, along with a treatment plan from every examination.
Q8 - Don’t celebrities need cosmetic dentistry just for looks only?
If you think about it, everything in life: animals, plants, people, and even smiles look good when they are healthy. And, the opposite is also true. Vanity is not the primary motive for smile enhancement. Instead, a beautiful smile is the result of a properly functioning, healthy mouth. When evaluating in this perspective, the question becomes, “Is health for everyone or only reserved for celebrities?”
Q9 - What is Dental Insurance?
Dental Insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. The contract with your insurance company should never govern the treatment that your dentist recommends for you, as it was not designed to pay for all dental services.
